Shrews are tiny, but fierce! Much smaller than rodents (which they are not), shrews can be the smallest mammals in the habitat. Voracious insect predators, they have an extremely high metabolism and must eat nearly continuously to survive. This artwork was inspired by the soft, puffy grey fur of the Desert Shrew. He is wearing a simple, silk brocade zip-front puff jacket and a soft, silk velvet scarf. • Smaller sized sculpture fits easily on shelves and tabletops • Functional joints allow unique poses • A unique artwork that inspires smiles from everyone
