This is the male of a pair of cottontail rabbits made with the same materials. His body is made from a greyish-beige wool blend and his boots from a textured, white silk. This doll is wearing simple sleeveless jacket lined with celery green silk. The jacket has a beaded detail along the hem and a book and beaded bead attached at the waist. The rabbit is wearing a voluminous set of sleeves made from hand-dyed silk organza that matches the dress of the female. His beetle companion is made from beige upholstery fabric and brown leather. He has button joints at the head, shoulders, hips and knees.
