The female Aztec Thrush has subtle, speckled colors that allow her to easily blend into the trees. This doll replicates the colors and patterns of the real bird with a variety of wool fabrics and lines of beadwork. She is carrying a glass 'basket' over her shoulder filled with stylized branches and berries. Her beetle companion is made from light blue upholstery fabric and blue leather. As with the male bird, she is fully jointed.
